The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, also known as 'the SDGs' or 'the Global Goals' are a set of 17 goals for achieving a sustainable future by 2030. They were developed as a replacement to the Millenium Development Goals, and have been adopted by the 193 member countries of the UN General Assembly and already show up in the reporting of 72% of corporations. They are becoming a universal framework for understanding and contributing toward a sustainable and inclusive future.
